Community Partners
One of the ways which we support charities in local communities is through our Community Partnership programme with Pets at Home.
There are over 450 Pets at Home stores across the UK and each of them has the opportunity to choose a local Community Partner to champion throughout the year. This Community Partner has the exclusive ability to go into store throughout the year to fundraise, recruit volunteers and supporters, and raise awareness of the work they do for their local community.
Community Partners are also invited to take part in our annual fundraising events to raise needed funds for their valuable work.
Organisations must meet our funding criteria. Full details are available below; however your organisation’s main activity must be one of the following:
- the rescue and rehoming of domestic pets from within the UK
- the provision of assistance animals or animal-assisted therapy
- preventing pet relinquishment through outreach work, including emergency pet fostering, low cost neutering, and subsidised veterinary treatments
