Woodside Animal Centre – Dotty’s Case Study

In March 2023, we awarded Woodside Animal Centre – RSPCA Leicestershire £18,000 to help it with veterinary bills.

This has helped an additional 622 animals like Dotty.

Dotty had been involved in a road traffic accident with severe injuries, which included a pelvic fracture and an open fracture to one of her back legs.

An X-ray determined that it wasn’t possible to save the damaged back leg, and the decision was taken to amputate the limb, saving little Dotty’s life.
